    so who installed the $40 windows 8 upgrade?

    any one else install the $39.99 windows 8 pro upgrade?

    did a few today...

    have to say i was impressed with how smoothly most of them went..

    Or from win 7 on an equally old machine? Win 7 gave a vast improvement in speed over XP on my PC. Admittedly I was able to use the 64-bit version of Win 7

    you only need download it once

    it gives you the option to burn a dvd
