    then spend $4.50 (like them on facebook for the .50 off on stardock systems start8 and you have the best of both worlds

    i have been wondering about getting this or not. We just got a pc about 3 months ago and we got a voucher to upgrade for $15 but i cant remember where that has gone. I am wondering if it worth me getting the 8 or just wait and leave it at 7 and get a new pc in a few years or 6 months-1yr(one of them has a dud battery so it has to be plugged in at all times).
    ok so is it worth it over 8?
    and what advantages/disadvantages does it have over 7?

    Had a Vista system for quite a few years now, and yet to find a problem.

    Still, $40 bucks for an "upgrade" might be worth it.
