Oh well. Computrt tech arrived and said hard drive not good, it had better be replaced. So today he arrived and fitted new drive but the computer couldn't "find" it. Apparently the mother board and bios is so antiquated it cannot connect to the new SATA3 hard drives. Which leaves only one option, bury the old computer and get a new one ...darn computers. Thatis unless someone knows how to make an old system talk to a new hard drive. Jim
