Thread: My ongoing W8 saga

Just downloaded classic shell and it runs fine. Makes desktop run like W7 with its own start button. Now I have a problem. I have just lost a program. One of the options in this shell is that you can bring up your W8 tiles. As I have been trying to find away of getting the Microsoft games tiles onto my desktop I decided to tryto drag these games tiles from the list to the desktop. There was a shortcut established but it went nowhere and now the games tile has completely disappeared from the computer. It is not in the rubbish bin but I cannot find it. I cannot remember the name of the tile. There are two, MIC. MAHJONG which is ok and the other is MIC. ? which includes games like Spider, Clondike etc. I need to find this second program but I cannot remember what it was called.Or indeed what has happened to it. OK So I will answer my own post. Did a system restore and lost program came up again. Re installed the shell and set it for W7 so now everything runs off the desktop screen just like W7. Jim
