next cab off the rank is--

A ten year old cutie donated by sisters MIL,,
[4 those who came in late;--
through the good nature of AULRO'ians my sister and her hubby are now 'net users.]
This cutie has a 3GHz intel running onboard graphics(AGP slot available) with a mighty 512mb ram using XP Home Ed.
I swapped out the awesome 250W psu for a mighty 350W, added another 512 of ram, and a nearly forgotten ATI 9600XTG agp card, (my beloved 6800GTX was too big!)
a quick format and away XP goes loading until---
    "incorrect Disc"
It seems while the product key is no doubt the genuine windows article, it for a OEM version of XP Home,, and the genuine XP Home disc I have is for the upgrade from ME,,

    sigh,,

Partially, economical (TD5), reliable (Land Rover) fast even when the going is tough (V8). Like on my 486 with 256meg ram forced to deal with 1TB hard drives and dodgy brothers video card adaption. I could run the quad core sitting next to it I picked up in a clean up but that wouldn't be a challenge.
