I have a wireless Ethernet bridge I use for work. In standard trim with the supplied antennas it will easily do 100 to 150 metres line of sight. With a set of Yagis on it I've got 8KM with good signal strength. The unit is called a Digi Xpress - XPress™ Wireless Ethernet Bridge - Digi International
They are easy to setup and use and have very good through put.
So basically you plug an Ethernet cable into the unit at the house, then at your shed, run another Ethernet cable to you computer or wireless router and your done.
I bought them locally, but I don't think they were cheap.... I'll just go and hunt up the place I got them from - they are in the Eastern burbs of Melbourne and were very helpful, but may be a bit OTT for your application.
