    I'm still waiting for the day that windows can detect and resolve a problem. They've only had like 25 years to perfect it.

    The 3gb isn't the issue (though it is stupid it has to be done twice one for each computer),. Just wondering if its likely to screw things up.

    I enquired on the MS forums (I have 3 machines to update and 8GB/ month...) and apparently you will be able to download a disc image to create an installation disk, although the suggestion was 32 bit and 64 bit updates will need their own image. I'll try to download the iso from work
