    Iphone 4 and texts

    why can I send text messages to some mobile contacts and not to others? it just sits there and won't send. Jim

    Try clicking on the msg and having it send as a text msg (not an imessage).
    (you may have to go to Settings and TURN ON the option to allow SMS text messages. And THEN you have to choose "send as text message" when the iMessage fails.)

    try turning off imessage under settings...
