    bulk picture resizing

I have a quite a few pics I would like to resize to make them a bit more forum friendly. I normally use IrfanView and do them individually. So a couple of questions, can IrfanVeiw do bulk resizing and if not any suggestions of a similar product that can ?

I use Microsoft Office Picture Manager for this type of work.

I usually make a copy of the pictures I want to resize to preserve the high quality original for later use if needed.

Photo resize 400 does it in batch mode. Can change the file name value to get different sizes too

Irfanview will do it quite admirably.
I just batch converted over 1100 images (maps) from tif to ecw in one hit.
