SubscriberAdobe PDF reader does not have the issues that Flash has. Alternatives to Adobe PDF reader are Nitro and Foxit + there are others to.

Base model Surfaces can have this problem with Flash, I've noticed on work tablets. Also a problem on my Galaxy tablet.
A lot of educational games were written in Flash, so that's a problem if your tablet won't play them, maybe because it hasn't been kept up to date. Doesn't seem to be a problem with laptops, in my experience.

Any windows rt device will have an issue as it is a controlled world tied to when Microsoft feel like releasing updates

Flash needs to crawl away and die... People still insisting on using it (because its familiar) need to move on!
Horrible bloody thing it is... And Java is much nicer....

It's not just happening on Android tablets/ phones it also happened on my IPad so Apple products can be affected as well.

I was having similar problems. I have had these problems in the past. It's usually involved with a video ad from Google ad services down the bottom right of the AULRO. The video starts automatically and the script fails.
Luckily, the ad eventually changes. Now we have a new ad that the video doesn't automatically start.
