    "The image is too large, too many bytes"??

    I have some Hi resolution jpeg images (20 Mb in size) on disk and when i try to open them with windows I get the above window pop up.How do I lower the resolution?? TIA

    Can you open them with IrfanView and resize them there?

    Just use another program like photoshop or even paintshop.
