    Might be too late but take the battery out and do a CMOS reset. Its normally a jumper you short out on Gigabyte boards.

    Have just been informed by my IT guru that the motherboard has returned from space and will soon be on its way to chilly Toowoomba.

    still dunno what was wrong,, if its been repaired or replaced,,

    all I know its coming home!!!!
