Mozilla Unbelievably Slow! On this site

    I don't know what's happening.

Yesterday I downloaded Mozilla as IE was taking over 10Sec to load a page on Aulro AND ONLY Aulro. I gave the site the benefit of the doubt and downloaded Mozilla.

It was Amazingly fast....But as the night went on it got slower.

Today its slower than IE it's getting really frustrating..loading pages but then not quite loading them until a second or two after, so I can't actually do anything on the page until it completely loads. Otherwise it says (not responding)

I have also noticed that evertime i change between screens on aulro it seems to be getting hung up waiting for the ad.yeldmanager.com.

Does anyone know what can be causing this I turned off all my scans etc, deleted all history cookies etc

no different. could it be the add on's I put on is that slowing it down? either way I will have to go back to IE as it may of been slow but at least when it did load it loaded the page correctly...HELP!!!

Seems to be sorted thanks to simon added adblock plus...

And for some reason when it got really really bad my Ram was running over 88%

got to a point that I couldn't even shut the computer down, it wouldn't let me

restarted it..with adblock turned off 2 other add on's and all seems to be good and back to its very quick self

yeh, i noticed the same thing.

Ive also had my virus scanner have a hernia at the ad manager thing which slowed the whole system down.

Adblock Plus is the way to go. Does a fantastic job getting rid of the adverts.

Sure speeds up the browsing process.

While were on Firefox. I have it on my two personal machines and when I am notified about a PM it wont open it in a new tab. Then gives me a messsage about a popup blocker (or similar).

Is there a setting I can change to solve this?

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Those adverts on Aulro are so small in size that they should not impact on the speed of your browser loading a page.
There could be other things which slow down the browser - hence you had 88%Ram usage.

Check your Antivirus software, they nowadays scan every page and link on pages before the page gets displayed. Turn that off and you should see a massive difference.

When the pop up blocker bar on top of your browser window appears, just click on the button and select 'accept pop up messages from Aulro' this should do the trick.
