Laptop cases

Well it turned up today less than 24 hours later! Now that's express air freight

The case is actually a perfect fit for my old Sony VIAO 15" but is to large for the 13" MBP. That said I can add to the foam blocks it came with to hold the smaller laptop. Also in fairness it was the smallest case I could get as the next size down (1080CC) would have been to small buy about 5mm

Anyway as it's roll is to protect against dust, moisture and hard knocks it will do nicely.

Did you buy out of the US or from within Aussie?

Would have loved to get it from the USA but as I needed it ASAP I shopped around locally. Lot more expensive, but I can't complain as I got what I needed in the time frame I had.

In the past I've usually got stuff from USA in 3 - 5 days but you never can tell.

The packing I've had to add. The light grey blocks come with the case and can be stuck in place where required - I really needed 4 times as many. The foam is from another pelican case and I will be sticking this to the lid and sides, at present it's just "loose".

I can use it in the case if I want to

Thought I'd put the Iridium 9555 in the shot for size comparison
