    rave 1970 - 1985

    is any one running this cd on thier computer if so what o/s are you using as i am having no luck running it with vista as adobe reader 6 that was on the cd is not compatible with vista, adobe could only give me 8 or 9 as been compatible

    I run Acrobat 9.0 with Vista & Rave works fine.

    more info its a RRMAN 70 -85, i have loaded the reader 6 that was on the cd but when i click on one of the manuals i get this message
    " sorry, but the application could not be found on your system "
    any clues as to what is going on

    you are getting acrobat 6 conflicting with a newer version of acrobat on your machine I would say

    I'd uninstall acrobat 6 and let the latest version do the job

    Or reinstall the later version that you have (8 or 9). that should also fix it.

    had 9 on , didnt work, deleted that, put 8 on didnt work deleted that, put 6 on didnt work, thats still on as it came with the cd

    Just guessing but I'd try copying the whole disk to a folder on your PC and then run the EXE file in compatability mode (right click\properties\compatability). You might even convince Acrobat 6 to run on Vista? Worth a shot.

    it runs alright on another computer which has XP but wont run on mine with vista
