And what you don't know, and will be totally lost on the PC fans is that how your mac runs now should pretty much be how it runs for it's whole life. In my experience they don't slow or wither with age like PC's. If you patch a mac you usually won't notice it - or if you do it will be an improvement.

I am yet to meet someone who has done an wipe and OS re-install on a mac for a legitimate reason. The OS should last the life of the computer.

And its the only upgrade of an OS that actually uses less hard disk space than the previous. 64 bit sounds nice an tempting but i am most interested in the potential ram upgrades, though how much ram do you actually need.

found my other parcel as well, didn't need to do anything as it was all sorted at time of purchase

just completed the installation. It always amazes me how smoothly all works with Apple!

So, has anyone installed snow leopard yet?
