Hi Lewy, first off can you take a closer picture of your multi meter, specifically the dial settings.

Next, not sure what your trying to do, I think you are after a current reading, if so just make sure nothing is on in the vehicle because any load over 10 amps will blow the fuse in the multi meter.

Lewy, what you are trying to find out is how much CURRENT is flowing while the car is turned off.
To do this you disconnect either the + or - terminal then place one multimeter wire on the battery terminal and one onto the wire you have removed. You then set your multimeter on "AMPS".

The amp drain should be under 1 so should be alright to leave the black multimeter terminal on COM.

If you want to find the circuit which is draining you should remove fuses one by one , noting the change in amps used.

My bet it is the clock, alarm and radio, coupled to a tired battery.

    Memory.
AND have you added an amp to it? You have to have a switching wire from the radio to an amp to turn it off and on. Maybe someone has just had it on all the time if there is one.
