I was paying some homage to Lucas on the weekend and addressing some issues with the electrics in my 93 D1 v8(3.5).

What I changed was the radio fuse and the interior lights fuse. Also I put in an old CD head unit I had lying around until I have the spare coin for a new fancy one .

Once I placed the centre console in I noticed that I no longet have lights in the auto trand shifter, the heater/aircon controls. I checked at the blue plug that the shifter lights plug into and there was no voltage.

Is this a common issue, once this is fixed I believe that I have addressed all of the electrics issues in the car.... even the fuel gauge that seems to be working now..... I think.

The only thing I did was connect the negative side of the sterio to the body via the 7mm bolts that hold the stereo brackets on rather that the stereo loom as I was too lasy t change the fitting on the wire to a flat. Though I will next time the dash comes out.

Any ideas befor ethe center console comes out again would be heaps of help.
