    Roof rack to fit

Hi, I want a reasonably priced roof rack that will fit my Disco 1, there are heaps of super duper aluminium fit everything on expensive ones around but I'm just after a couple of bars type cheap one.

I recently bought one from eBay but it's too short to fit.

Has anyone fitted one and if so how much and where from.

    Thanks

    Regards

    Martin

I got a pair of pro-rack ones from Supercheap.

They were listed as being for a midi van or something like that, not a discovery. But the brackets are high enough to clear the roof, and the cross bars are long enough.

They gave me filthy looks when I was opening the racks and measuring them!

I picked up a set of rhino roof bars from a small flea market for $10 Best buy ever. Then went to autobarn and got a basket which they charged me the wrong price for. It was meant to be $260 but got it for $120 as they put the wrong code in lol. If ya can go to a flea market and check it out!!!

    Hi all,

I bought a used roof rack from a Troopy.................Its only big enough for my second spare, high lift jack and shovel. It went straight on, no worries at all. I mounted it on the front (lower) section of the roof. it works well and dosent look to bad either.
