One way check valve in booster, vaccum pump or lines? What are the symptons. ? HAve you checked the booster. Pump brakes with ignition off and hold , Start engine and pedal should drop when booster kicks in.

yes, done all checks on booster , pulled one way valve out of booster gently and it was holding vacuum if you keep foot on pedal ,then switch off engine, pedal will come up a little,as it should,
it feels as if there should be more clamping pressure needed on front, i can use both feet pushing on pedal at 10k and feels like old drum brakes full of water,

when reversing fast it pulls up better than forward,
i will replace pressure limiting valve today and test, might be letting more pressure to rear,

thank you all for your info,

Do your front brake calipers have 3 bleed nipples, on my 93 there is a bleed nipple that can't be got at unless the wheel is off, I didn't know about this nipple till I checked out the w/shop manual. My brakes were crap until I bled the front calipers according to the L/R manual, that outside nipple must be bled as instructed, or you'll have crap brakes, Regards Frank

If you done everything else then check your rubber brake hoses.
Have some one pump the pedal and you have a look at your rubber brake hoses, when they can become weak with age they won't hold pressure and bulge out, so the fluid fills the hose like a boil instead of the pressure transmitting to the caliper.

Have you checked your wheel bearings latley, grab hold of the tyre up top and give it a good strong shake.
