Thread: engine shut off

i was driving ome tonight and the 3.9l was running like a dream just had the feul pump and ignition module done and all of a sudden hit a bit bump in the road at 80km and the engine just stopped. so i pulled over it fired up staight away but instantly died , i tried again with a bit of excellerater same thing died again instantly. wasn't long it started and got home fine so has anyone got any theorys on what is going on here.

The bump in the road causing it to stop leads me to the Inertia switch being tripped, but you say it started again. The inertia on the V8s is behind the washer bottle on the fire wall ( hidden from View) Usually the Hazards flashers go off at the same time though.)
Other wise it could be a dicky connection that caused the shut down. Better check all the connections at the replacement parts
