    diff-lock selector problems

    Hi peoples.
    Need your help here...
I cant seem to get enough adjustment in the pivot to operate the centre diff-lock properly. There seems to be an accumulation of slop in everything or else the actuator itself is requiring too much movement. Not really sure. Have replaced the 2 plastic bushes where it pivots, but it still doesn't translate to enough movement at the transfer case end.
    Help please!

its one of those things you need to use on a regular basis or it goes stiff and then some ham fisted bugger like me gets in it cracks it with it and bends the linkages.

Check the alignment of the linkages as well.

The method I use to eliminate box/linkage problem is to remove the top linkage from the Tcase and actuate it with a spanner/pair of pliers with a front wheel up off the ground while I spin it around. When (if) it locks in attempt to reconnect the linkage. If the linkage wont go then its a linkage alignment/fouling/bent problem. If you cant get it to lock its internal in the Tcase.
