I will be getting another disco (perhaps a d2) after these events having a good outcome and the kids only having a bruise from things flying around. Although the thought has crossed my mind of finding a d1 that only needs running gear, I would still prefer a d2. I'm told it will run with a new fuel pump and the running gear is all ok, but I haven't seen it since the excitement happened. The pic was the one taken by the examiner news paper in tassie.
Terrible event, glad all are OK. The non function of the fuel pump is probably due to the inertia switch, shuts off fuel pump after rollover or impact.
Should be under dash, next to steering column, or if hazards are still flashing, it'll be part of the alarm/ immobiliser unit and should be reset with a lock/ unlock cycle by the key fob, or battery disconnect/ reconnect.
