Hi all!
Gear selection in the 5 speed manual box became suddenly more and more vague trying to find gears. At home I started removing things, loosen off associated bolts and removed the shifter/selector rod. The selector ball has completely fallen off and was just sitting inside the yoke hole. The PLASTIC cage that holds the pivot ball in place inside this yoke is broken and it desappeared, also the clip of some sort to stop it falling out, if there was any. I flushed the oil and didn´t found any particles. The magnetic plug had only few metallic particles from gear wear. I checked the gearbox sumpf with a wire and it was clean
I turned the axes with opened gearbox in order to hear if any particle was there disturbing, and didn´t found anything bad.
I placed the new plastic cage from top side of the joke and replaced the gear lever. Now it´s working properly.
The question that I have is: Could be possible that this plastic piece was mounted in the same way I mounted it, without this clip?
Now i´m waiting for it, but i´m not sure if things are better if i don´t put this clip...

but... I'm afraid there is another plastic cage more inside the gearbox. This plastic part from your fotographs is very good in my case.
Today I got the circlip, a new allen screw, and a couple of good instructions in order to install parts properly from our "Mickey L R Service".
When I do the job I will post some pictures from this experience...

i have done mine a couple of times, its an easy enough job. My yolk is stuck on and someone has rounded the allen head bolt out so i cant undo it so i just ground down the step on the plastic cage and pushed it through from the top, no problems this far.

Well, for the purpose of clarifying and close the item, I show how it ended.
These are the affected parts: plastic bush and Seeger ring to hold it.
The allen prisoner screw is what fixes the yoke to the Selector toolbar, part recommended to replace if removed.
The following two views show the yoke with top and bottom mounted plastic bush
You notice that the height of the ball that connects with the lever is altered, modifying the relative distances between gears. It's simple to place the bush from above: so did I until i got the necessary elements to complete the installation properly. The correct way is the ultimate, is made from below, retained with the seeger ring. But to do this it is necessary to unmount the yoke.
Since the Allen screw is assured with threadlocker, the right thing is to give heat with a heat gun to soften the compound. With a big 5 mm allen you then may loose it.
Before to mount the yoke is important to degrease the pieces to make effective the threadlocker you should apply to the screw
Finally an image from the mounted yoke fixed with threadlocker, complete with the plastic bush and the retaining ring.
I hope that this might help anyone. Remember, when gear changing gets too loose, mainly along the "Y" axe of the movements...
