    over heating disco s1

    hi guys if any one can give me some help it would great .re con raditor changed water pump and clucth fan but still heating up when loaded or going up hills on freeway not sure but thinking of taking themo out

    I wouldn't run the engine with the thermostat out as it can create more problems.

    How's the ignition timing? Too far out & it can cause overheating.
    Same with a very lean mixture but that's fairly rare with the V8s.

    did you change the thermostat?

    one of the first things that should be checked and done.
    Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......

    Has the radiator been bled correctly. I second dont take out thermostat, replace it if was not changed.

    As already said test the thermostat or put a cooler temp one in?
