No, but an option may be to replace the whole lines.

Hi all,
Thinking that the front diff has been sufficiently rustproofed, I'm at the point of replacing the oil cooler hoses on my '97 300tdi manual. I've had a look through the various threads on the subject but they seem to refer to modification by cutting the swagged ends off the steel tubes and brazing the fittings on. What I'd like to do is remove the entire hose / tube assembly and thread Enzed's Push-Lok fittings - either directly or via adaptors - to the oil filter plate and the oil cooler.
To that end, does anybody know the thread sizes for the filter plate and the oil cooler? (I'd take them off myself and get them matched but my only vehicle is the Disco and I don't really want to remove them in the Enzed carpark).
Cheers
Simon

No, although I think I have run the pitch gauge over them once but it was a long time ago.
Remember that at each end (oil filter housing and rad header tank) are an O ring fitting, (deformed/flanged steel tube with O ring, loose nut) so it's probably easiest to do what we all have done and get the hard line fittings replaced and new hoses crimped on.
i just took all my oil cooler lines and power steering lines to Pirtek and they refurbished them all. That was some years ago now, still no leaks, and they added new hoses to the original fittings.

Thanks for the replies guys. I might buy a set from a wreckers and have them modified in the traditional way. I guess I could also then have my original ones done and sell them off.
Cheers
