    And so it continues

Turns out that the thing that I thought was causing all of my oil leak problems is not the thing that was causing it I thought that the lift pump was leaking badly and that was the "oil" leak problem (it was leaking, but the leak is still there)... turns out, not so much. Is there anything else on the drivers side of the engine bay that would cause such a leak. I am talking like a puddle 10-15cm in diameter after a couple of minutes of being parked.. Seems to be worse after driving at high way speed. Was thinking maybe a breather pipe leak or something like that. It is hard to see where it is leaking from exactly Any help would be muchly appreciated.

Could be either, you will see a pool of oil on the diff housing.
Another posibility is a loose oil filter or a leaking filter head gasket.
Give it a good clean if you cant see where it is leaking and run for a while, it will show up pretty quick.

Okay, so know that I know where the oil is coming from how do I stop it? The oil, it would appear, is leaking out from where the oil filter attatches to the sandwich plate. Does this mean that there is some buring on where the filter screws on? Or is something not lining up quite right?

What about the rubber seal on the oil filter?

Isn't that meant to seal the oil filter to the housing?

    Maybe yours is missing?

    Is the filter tight?
