    300 Tdi Disco Alternator Length

    Gday

    I actually have a Defer but it is a Disco related question

    Could someone do me a favour and measure the length of their alternator? (100A)

    Mine currently has a 65A because thats what Defenders come standard with

    A while ago I had a quick squiz in the engine bay of a Disco and for some reason I remember the alternator looking a bit longer than the 65A

    I want to fit a 100A but my turbo hoses sit awfully close to the back of the alternator as it is (VNT Turbo)

    Hi Jock,
    6 inches from the front face of the casing to the rearmost section (plastic cover of diode pack)
    add 1.5 inches to front of drive pulley.
