Hi guys, sorry to hijack the thread, but has anyone have good experiences with diesel tuning places in Sydney? I want to get everything put back to stock, then have it tweaked etc from there. At the moment, its a little bit rough and running a bit more sluggishly than usual. I had a mate that got his car done somewhere in Sydney, but can't get in touch with him. Thanks guys.

yeah just be happy with what they are i reckon. fast take offs only stress the driveline anyway. longevity is the goal unless you're a millionaire. i have a defender and disco both 300tdi and having had patrol and landcruiser experience i haven't looked back to jap stuff. they are good machines but british is better by far. sure they are a bit sluggish in the hot climes and u have to be careful with them getting hot but look after them and they more than serve u well.
just one word on hi speed highway runs. a bloke told me he was sitting on 130 on the stuart hwy and an injector let go, instantly flooding a cylinder and cost him his engine. i understand there are two types of injectors in different 300tdi models.
keep it filtered and clean and that shouldn't happen i reckon.
    cheers
    peter
