I have a spec sheet for an industrial 3-53N engine which is 92 hp @ 2800 and 200 ft/lbs @ 1500. This is a continuous rating for stationary applications and is pretty conservative. This is the naturally aspirated version. In the TIBB form for automotive/ mobile plant applications torque is 320 ft/lbs @ 1800 rpm and 275 ft/lbs @ 2500 rpm. TIBB is turbocharged, intercooled, blower bypass. These little engines can be safely tweaked up to 3000-3200 rpm in a lightweight installation.
Registration authorities might buck a bit at the TIBB format. If trying this on perhaps one could get it engineered and registered as an N and convert to TIBB afterwards.
