    Warn 8000 winch

Hi all i am fitting a warn 8000 to my 96 s1 disco on an ARB bar.The fitting instructions supplied with the bar indicate where the clutch and motor have to be spun around .Now to my reconing this leaves the drain holes on the motor up top and the cable studs facing forward? Can the motor be spun around further to re locate the holes down or will this cause any dramas with the winch operations?'thanks.....

If this is for the lowmount, its only the gearbox end that you need to rotate. The motor can be left alone so the drainhole remains down.
    Cheers

I agree with slunnie, If your not sure contact Warn. Going off memory there could also be drain holes that can be opened up. But dont quote me on that!
