    Converting 5 seater D1 to 7 seater

    Hi all,


    A friend of mine is looking for a 7 seater 4x4 wagon for his ever expanding family... I have pointed him in the direction of the green oval.


    Seeing as there are many more 5 seater tdi's around I was wondering if the 5 seater can be converted into a 7 seater?

    Ben,
    Yes you can make D1 5 seater into a 7 seater legally.
    LR used to make seat kits to transform them depending on model year as they were available up until the last 98MY's.
    Probably try a wreckers & it is just a matter of nuts & bolts etc, quite easy to fit.
