    turtle covers

I just fitted a set of front and rear water proof seat covers to my disco one from turtle covers uk.
gotta say what a great product they are, easy 10 minute fit to all seats, they are fitted covers made for the disco, with holes in all the right places, still retaining the slpit rear seat set up. I went with bottle green colour, really matches the epsom green of my disco plus a great price on both front and rear including postage for less than the price of inferior front only ones availible here in aust. Bought mine from ebay uk. will post pics soon

Good timing as I was just looking at these covers on ebay. Did you go the nylon or polyester? I was thinking of nylon on the rear seat for dog and baby protection and polyester for the front as I thought they might be more comfortable.

    Cheers

I went with the polyesther, didnt like the thought of nylon and sweating in summer.
couldnt be happier with them, your idea would be good though, i expect the nylon would be easier to clean dog and children off them, having said that my kids make a mess in the back, i just wiped the polyesther with a damp cloth, all gone.
    will post some pics today

Hi I have these covers in my Epsom green disco bottle green also

Had them in for just over 4yrs

I brought a full set although I had all covers in the easy wipe apart from the drivers seat had that in the breathable material. This one though has just started to fall apart on the inside but still works. The company was very good to deal with and if you do a search my original thread on me fitting the coversmay still be on here

    Hi DB

Is there much difference between the two types of covers? Would you go the breathable again?

Although the breathable has not lasted as long ( could be the way I washed the
) I would go the breathable again for the drivers seat the other covers although thougher are much hotter! The breathable is also much softer and less slippery

    Thumbs up

Just a quick update on these seat covers. I recently had some issues with my polyester seat covers not lasting in the Disco as they should and an email to Marc at Turtle had the problem sorted in one email. Really great customer service and as a result I have ordered a pair of the nylon seat covers for the Defender.
