I've got to admit the KM2's do look like an awesome tyre but after fitting the MTZ's to mine i have to say that the side biters look more aggressive. The road noise is minimal but traction in the mud is great even wet slippery roads get good traction so I have to say unless they fail in a major way I won't be trying anything

the only thing i dont like... is they are wearing down quick as ****!!! haha like i know they are quite a soft compound (hence the grip) but they are wearing very quickly... quicker than the old mans km1's.. but hey i use a lot of right foot so it was going to be expected... also i would like the side wall lugs to be abit squarer.. i think they would look tougher but damn do them side lugs work!! got me out of some ruts a few times....

but overall i am happy with the km2... great tire! maybe i should just get off the bitumen and into the mud alot more!!!
How many k,s? how much wear?
    Cheers Dean.

have done 20,000kms and they are 50%, where as my old man with km1s got 75,000 out of his... BUT saying that the km2s are much softer compound which is whhy they have great traction so quicker wear is to be expected... also driving styles are a tad different! the old man drives just like that, i use lets just say a fair amount of right foot haha... so really i dont think they are doing too bad considering... and they are a great tyre!
was talking to a guy at the engle series round 2 using them on hios comp truck (off his daily) 35s as his new simex didnt arrive in time and he was doing some NASTY stuff and he only sliced 1x and they performed pretty good. and that was some hardcore rocks and climbs so for the average 4x4 doing some reasonable stuff they gotta be pretty good!

I change mine, only using them 4 the bush.
My son & I usually knock this over in about 20mins 4 the 5 tyres.
Measued the tread depth when I got them brand new, 14-15mm.
Will proly sell them at 9-10mm, that should be good 4 a few years!
    Cheers Dean.
