Thread: finally got my mudpod fitted

Fits up real goodIf you dont mind me asking,what sort of $$$ to get one sent over??

I think it was around $90 AU delivered......

just trying to source some suitable switches for the winch isolator, in cab winch in and winch out, spotties and wading then they can go in as well which should also leave enough room for a voltmeter and temp gauge.

yep, wading I have endless air fitted which fills a reservoir (old fire extinguisher) mounted under the rear floor. This supplies air for the lockers but also feeds air pressure into the diff housings and bellhousing for waterproofing/wading....the switch activates the solenoid for this, does that make sense

out of interest, what pressure do you pressurise the diff's etc for wading?

not entirely sure, it was set up this way when I got the car. The main reservoir sits around 100psi but I am sure this isnt pumped into the diffs

I only use it sparingly and for shorts periods so theres no way the seals get to this pressure, I reckon they get to around the 20psi before its goes off again

I have been keeping an eye out for ages for something like that and it looks perfect.

yeah mate, you look at it and say, geez $90 for that, its so simple but its worth its weight in gold when there isnt really anywhere for extra gauges and switches in the early D1.
