    Okay I've got my Rave LR guide and a new regulator and some trim plugs for when I break them and my wife is at work...the clock starts NOW!

    Finished! So around two and a bit hours...but I used duct tape to hold the window in place which left heaps of horrible glue mess which I spent probably the last half hour getting off...DON'T USE DUCT TAPE!!! All in all a success...one thing, for some reason the Rave manual says to remove the window motor before taking the regulator out of the door...this is pretty much impossible. Remove the whole lot and take the motor off once it's all out of the door, providing you've unplugged the multi-plug first of course

    I don't know what funny types of screws were holding the motor to the regulator though, I had to use a small vice-grip to un-bolt it and bolt it back up again.

    Good work. How many door clips did you break?

    Even if you had the hands of a 10 year old, they would still be too big to get inside the panel properly.

    Surprisingly I didn't break any door clips...forgot to mention that detail That's irony for you though...I made sure I bought a bag of ten of the little buggers only to not need any!

    I know there are still some broken ones in the tailgate though from when I attempted to change the door lock spring so I'll be using them there for sure when I get around to trying again since I did not succeed last time

    I forgot to mention too, the regulator that was in there had completely destroyed itselt and I couldn't believe just how wrecked it was...every part had broken off and all the ends of the arms were bent and warped around in funny ways. Thought that was interesting.
