This dissy had the black box there before I unscrewed it and wired my conversion. Plenty of room, the ps pump is there too. You can see its head mounting nut in the pic just above the wires I was fitting up.

I believe that Bee utey's photo is of a V Belt and is totally different to a serpentine setup

The "vacuum can" ... position ends up facing directly forward ... Front ... pointing at the radiator

    Cheers

Just corrected my words, to how I meant to say it

    Try adjusting the TPS .....

    TPS on side of plenum.
There are three (3) wires coming from this unit to a multi plug.
    Do not disconnect.
Wire colors are Red, Green, Yellow.

Ignition ON ... (Not motor running)

Insert prongs of a multi meter in the plug
Red from volt meter to red wire of plug. Black wire from volt meter to Green of plug.

Volts should read .33 to .35 volts if not, loosen the two (2) screws that hold it in position and turn it to get the correct voltage. If you cannot get the correct voltage setting, undo and remove the TPS, make the fixing holes elongated and you will be able to get the right voltage.

Oh .... and clean the Hot wire in the MAF

See how you go on that 1

    Cheers
    Mike

    Brilliant

Had 0.21 volts showing or actually with red to red -0.21 V drilled out the holes and now a nice .34V problem solved
So a big thank you mike 90 RR

bee utey gets to pass go and collect his $200 dollars. To be honest i didn’t think that trumpets would ever come lose. But just for the hell of it and i wanted to see how dirty it would be, i popped the top off.

Now number 2 is making a taping noise and a whooshing noise a bit like a crook inlet gasket. Funny that number 2 trumpet is now sitting in the washhouse tub. My 4 year old removed it.
it looks like not a new problem since there seems to be what looks like no more nails squirted around the place. Out with a center punch tomorrow and we will see how that goes.
