Thread: bigger fuel tank d2

Gday bob 10,

not sure why your in the d1 section but Yes, you can get a larger tank that replaces the original think mine holds 125ltrs and you can get sill tanks for D2.My Aux tank is 33ltrs and it fits in behind the drivers wheel arch..
The main tank is an easy replacement, the hardest thing is getting the D2 fuel pump in/out..
The Aux tank is a work of art and you need to be triple jointed in the elbows and have 6 arms to fit it..

Maybe not quite that bad..but gives me about 155ltrs and fills from the same filler..The sill tanks i've seen fill from a seperate filler and need a transfer pump..

Try Brown Davis Automotive, they have the 2 piece tanks, not sure how big together but give them a call.
