Thread: New Fuel Pump 98 Disco V8

G'day,
Just had to replace the fuel pump on the Disco. After reading a few different threads on this I was heading down to the local spare parts place to get one of the Bosch pumps as advised by the forum. When I walked in to the shop, the bloke behind the counter took one look at the pump, went out back and came back with a "GP Australia" brand pump No.GFP101. It was a straight swap, wiring and all, so it takes away the need to change any of the wiring as was advised with the Bosch pump.
Just thought this might help further down the track

The part no. is GFP101 but the box had FPE250V written on the side in white marker as well. Whether this is the shops own coding or not I couldn't tell you. The cost should be around $140 retail I suppose. I was lucky enough to be able to pick it up at cost through a mate who is a mechanic and it was only $75
