    d2 altenator into d1 ?

    any one know if a d2 altenator will or can be made to fit a d1?

    Direct swap as they have the same 4 leg mounts. If you have a choice get the 120 amp RV8 rangie model not the 100 amp RV8 disco model.

    Correct, but I seem to remember the main battery lug is bigger on the Rangie 120amp one, therefore you will need to enlarge the D1 lug or fit a bigger one so it'll fit over the post.

    Might be wrong though, haven't looked at both for a while to remember.
