    Bit the bullet

    Hey all,

Well I was dead set certain I was getting a deefer. Utterly convinced. My mind could not be changed....

So now that I got myself the 98 300tdi Disco......

As I stated ages ago in my intro, I have the mechanical knowledge of a penguin. I have a car that I like and it seems to have lots of bits I am not used to.

Is there anyone in Melbourne that would be happy happy to have a beer (my shout) and have a squiz at my new cash sink and give an opinion?

    Cheers
    Adam

    Cool Wave lots,,

    G'day Adam,
Good to see there's someone other than me works like that,, SWMBO basically gives me a blank cheque, and we come home with a D2 instead of a Defer,, go figure,,
Having just moved to Narre Warren Sth,, feel free to to flash lights, hang out windows etc to gain my attention,, although I work arvo shift, so you'll only see me around on weekends,, (I'm in a stock blue unit with a rooftop tent on it at the moment)
I know "jack all" on mechanics,, but happy to meet up for a yarn and or a drive,,

    Gday Adam,

Would be glad to meet up somewhere for a Beer/Chat/Drive or stand around and admire the marvels of the Discovery! . Name a place and we will see what happens.

    Cheers

    Doug

Speaking of Kyle, the Greendale meet in March would be a great opertunity for you to meet, look over and learn about as many Land Rovers you can handle. Plenty of people would be happy to go over it and give info. There's also a drive to suit your skills.

I,m working Saturday and might be in the area. What time are we looking at, I might drop in and say Gday.
    Cheers, David.
