help needed disco 1 brake lines

Hey all i need a helping hand finding a reputable company to make legal adr approved extended brake lines for my disco 1. Today was a seriously bad day for me after taking what i classed as a challenge from a driver of a john deere tractor not to go down that track i decided it was time to test my new 35's..... doomed from the onset i made it 3/4's through the slop only to sit belly up high and sticky in the most foul smelling mud i have ever encountered. 2 1/2 hours later a destroyed winch bent bull bar and the wifes jeep with a broken rear window i was recovered .... only to drive 200 mtrs down the road to notice the brake light on.... trip to the car wash remove said stinky goo and low and behold i now have a hole in my brake line... WHAT A DAY but as it goes i had a blast and if this is all i have to fix for the lesson i had today then so be it... i know now that if there is a major mud hole dont go slow hit it hard and that way if its that bad that your not going to make it all the way through your probably going to be embedded in the begining not 3/4 of the way into no mans land lol...

So please if you know of a great brake joint near Pakenham Vic please let me know so i can once again cause untold grey hairs for the love of my life

I fitted braided brake lines from rovercraft. 3 hoses wasn't overly dear. Also upgraded my calipers & discs to the larger defender units. Best money i have spent on my Disco

Can you buy direct from rovercraft or do you need to go through a middle man??? Last time i called them they wern't too interested in selling direct to public?? A rough price on the set up you have there would be interesting as I've just renewed my brakes aside from my brake lines. And were the brake lines extended or standard length??

Hey Nicho - I know you can get stainless braided ones standard or extended, what I dont know because I have forgotten is who sells them? I think if you looked in the landrover international magazine they are probably sold there

I imported a set of Britpart branded +40mm stainless lines from the UK, cost me about $45 (though the price depends whether you have ABS or not).

You can also get them from David at Lama 4x4. He will make them to any length you want. Prices are good as well and he will deiliver to Australia as I got some for the wifes 90 last year.
