    First Discovery but which one?

    Hi Guys,

    I have just brought my first 4WD and picked up a 1997 Discovery TDi 5sp,
    so far pretty happy with it and looking forward to my first off road experince next week,
    question is how do I know if its a series 1, 2 or 3
    as you go to buy parts and that s the first question they ask
    any ideas?

    It's a Discovery 1, unofficially called the D1 update (new dash, bigger headlights....).

    welcome to disco world... as scouse said its a D1 update..

    find parts on flee bay and google most of them are quite easy to get
