Thread: 1990 RR seats

Will the seats from a 1990 RRC fit into our 1994 discovery? do they bolt strait in?

Hi John.... it depends how your front seats bolt on, 1994 is a change over year, if the seats bolt too the floor then no, as the classic has mounts welded too the floor and the seat rails bolt too that.... if you have the later seat that the rails bolt too the base thats welded in the car then, Yes they do.

I put a set of 1993 vogue leather seats in are old disco one 1996.

As i was dieing for a set of arm rests. They bolt straight in, u just need a bolt with a lock nut on it for the back of the front seats, they line up u just need 4 new bolts, two per seat. the back seat bolts straight in.

I ended up removing them, as due too age of the rangy seats they wobbled with in the seat due too wear and tear, and the recliner lever was broken. and they were a brown color in a gun metal grey car.

But once out i definetely missed the better shape of the seat and the arm rest....

I havent tried fitting them onto the older style seat base...
