Thread: Water leaking

Just got some probs i need a bit of help being this is my first land rover.
Ok i have a 94 mod v8 sers1..

1. Put the a/c on and water comes out from the centre console just near the foot vent..

2. Not sure if its just age but got large chip in the screen and since then i think it leaking from the l/h lower up behind the glovebox.

Your throughts and advice would be appreciated..

probably blocked drain holes. climb under the car, high up in the transmission tunnel are 2 drain hoses, they have little rubber fingered plugs on them , mud and dirt blocks them. I just pulled mine out and left the hose to free drain.watch out if full of stinking water you will cop it all over you. use a coat hanger or similar and poke up the hole.
They are hard to see, try running your had up along the tunnel roof to feel them, roughly above the bellhousing.
