disco won't start!
Hi guys, need a little advice please, my 96 V8i has been sitting for about 3 years and now I want to fix her up but she won't start on petrol, On gas it runs no worries, fuel to the rail, fuel pumps pumping, relay's fine.
Any suggestions? your help would be much appreciated.
Regards Ted.

3 Years and I bet the fuel is probably off.
I suggest fuel drain, new filter and some purging and try again.
That is a long time to sit doing nothing, seals can harden and when hot could crack and leak.
I once bought a little old Golf from an old lady, been sitting for ages and car done very little miles. Leaked like a bitch.
All the best though, check or change all hoses and fluids especially coolant.

Possibly a wire fell off the petrol start relay, but I'd go with ancient fuel, too. I've seen gone-off fuel in garden tools and motor bikes, it's absolutely useless.
