Disco 1 LPG using existing airbox setup pics please.

My gas convserion was originally setup by LPGas 1. They ripped out the existing land rover airbox and cut down a holden commodore air box .
I would like to use a land rover original airbox, but am having a little problem with the air plumbing and maf setup.
The mixer is attached to the throttle throat on the plenum .
Would love a pic of a installation where the orginal air box is used please.

Thanks , So by turning the box around the original air intake makes a good snorkel attaching point.
My brother in law had a lpg system fitted by LPGAS1 and they butchered the the bottom from the land rover intake and left a hole on the mounting base so all the road dust could be sucked up from under the guard.( was expected I suppose as the relays under the dash were not even mounted on a bar neatly, they were just thrown in to dangle in a loose clump.)
The air intake hose looks like of a falcon?

If you are running an Impco 200 mixer, forget it. They are an absolute pain to get in and to the best of my knowledge the stock air box won't fit. If you install a Commodore box it should be cut to accurately follow the shape of the inner guard, then edge sealed with silicone. Not too bad that way.

This is a pic of a "ring" type mixer install using the stock MAF position. It's the one I do for most D1's and RRC's. The air intake hose needs to be shortened by 25mm or so.

Your right about the impco, but Duffman's install looks promising
