Thread: ZF 3rd Gear Lockup

Hi Folks
As I am about to have a transmission rebuild I was curious on what is required to get the lockup happening in 3rd as well as 4th. I have read a few post but all I can find is a valve mod is required but little details. I know manuel Autos in VIC do the mod but i'm in NSW and i'm trying to get someone local in the Sydney area to do the mod. The transmission mob in Bankstown I have in mind for the rebuild were not aware of the mod but would be happy to look into it if I can provide further details. Does anyone have any further info on this mod?

If they aren't aware of the mod, then do they know their way around a ZF? You could always get Manuals to ship you up an exchange auto up with the mod already done. Just get somone to R&R it
