My Transfer Case in my 97 Discovery TDI gave up the other due to lack of oil, and I have been offered one from a V8 County with LT 85 box, is this ok for my discovery? And if not can any advise me on what I need etc. Thank's

It will fit. But check for wear on the input gear and cross-drill it if it is not. Also check the ratio, your disco will be a 1.22. I can't remember if the V8 LT85's were a 1.4 or the 1.22.

All Disco 1's will have a 1.22.
