    Question disco 1 rims

    g day all im wondering if the wider offset of a defender steel rim will fit my 98 disco series 1 as i am very new to the discos the last time i owned a landi was 15 years ago an old series 3
    any help would be grate thanks

    no idea what the offset is on the defender wheels but i run rock crawlers with -4.25% offset and they required aftermarket flares

    Only the defender 130 or "wolf" rim has a wider offset than a disco steel wheel, and these are quite expensive.
    You would be better off looking for an aftermarket steel wheel to suit your needs.

    Hi there
    I tracked down a full set (5) of defender "Wolf" wheels and they look the biz on the Disco.
    They are considerably heavier than the standard disco wheels.
    If you do hunt a set down try and get the tubeless ones so you have the option to plug a repair, or failing that, you can slip a tube in to get you home.
